We have recently released upgrades for all software versions of Ultimate Web Builder! For a quick summary of what’s new, check out the What’s New page under the Features tab!
All 5 versions of UltimateWB software have an upgrade to the Responsive app. You can now further customize your website’s display for smaller screen sizes, such as for mobile & tablets: set a div to not display when the screen size is smaller, as well as center divs for smaller screen sizes where the left/right divs have been expanded to display vertically instead. You can see this in action on the Me We Too website.

The right side of this page features ads. When the screen size is smaller, only the top ad is set to show, and it is centered:
Ultimate Web Builder Full, Lite, and Essentials+ have two added sections where you can easily add content to multiple pages of your website by just editing one page section. Similar to the page header, footer, and side left/right sections, these two sections display above the page main section (under the top page menu), and below the main page section (above the footer lnks/bottom menu). You can see this on action on the Friends Match Me dating site pages:
Friends Match Me uses these two sections to display ads underneath the top menu bar and on top of the footer, so that it is very easy to update and manage – rather than updating several pages, it’s just one page section to update!
Like the other dynamic sections, you may opt to not show these sections on a page from your add/edit page on your website admin panel. Friends Match Me also uses this option to not show the ads on the homepage:
We have also upgraded the Timeline app on the UltimateWB Full version, adding the option to display custom ads on the timeline page within posts: left/right/top/bottom of posts. You can choose to display ads for every post in timeline, or every other post, with display max 3 ads/timeline option. It is similar to the built-in Forums/Message Boards app. You can see this in action on the Shout Out Universe website:
Like Me We Too and Friends Match Me, Shout Out Universe is a free website/app and monetizes through ads. So good positioning of ads is important!
UltimateWB Full also includes an upgrade to the Instant Chat app, with an added option to allow members to remove chats with a member from their chat window. After logging in, you get a chat box of your friends at the bottom of the page, which you can check out on our UltimateWB website:
As before, clicking on a contact friend opens the chat window for that member. From that chat window, you can choose to clear the chats for that member.
And, UltimateWB Full also includes a Facebook Login Upgrade. This is for compatibility with the new Facebook API. It’s what makes Facebook login for websites such as Me We Too and Shout Out Universe to continue to work :-)
This UltimateWB software upgrade, like many previous upgrades, also includes upgraded coding, for all versions. Hope you like the updates! We welcome your feedback!
