1. Do you offer an Auction feature yet? I saw this question asked on the forum about 2 years ago. Also, why are there NO questions being shown in the forum section for almost 2 yrs now?

2. I already have a website and I'm currently using Socialgo as my Social Media Platform software. Your website seems to offer all the things I need in one place, in regards to e-commerce, classified [however, I use the the word Online Business Directory on my website].

3. Merchants and Vendors using my Online Business Directory [MUST] offer "a discounted price" to be listed in my Directory. My question is, can the "COUPON" app be mandatory for merchants and vendors using the classified app. I also offer 3 different subscription options for merchants and vendors wanting to advertise in my directory. However, I don't charge a commission rate for items they sell, only a monthly subscription fee, will I be able to do this with your software?

4. Only paid members can purchase the products and/or services on my website, will I be able to do this using your software?

5. Can I make your software look as appealing as my socialgo website? Keep in mind, I will have a separate link for my members to create their own social media platform [like Facebook]. This means, I will be using your hosting [for faster uploading speeds] and have it directed to a link on my website.

6. Does your eCommerce platform allow for other merchants other than PayPal?

UPDATE, UltimateWB Full 4.4 Upgrade: UltimateWB Full does have a built-in Auctions feature add-on to the Classifieds app. So users can choose to make their item an auction, or a classifieds item.

No, UltimateWB software does not have an Auction feature yet.  We do consider adding new features based on user requests, as described on the Request Features page at https://www.ultimatewb.com/request-features .  We can confirm before software purchase if a feature you want will be added, and provide an estimate of when the feature would be ready.  If you do want an Auction feature, please list the specific features you would want it to include in your feature request.

Do the merchants/vendors sell the items directly on your website or on their own website?  Do you mean you want a coupon field that they would be required to fill?  You can customize a field in the Classifieds app - or alternatively in the Listings Directory app - and require that they fill it in.  Also with UltimateWB Full you can set up a members system with subscriptions they can purchase.

Do you mean you want only paid members to have access to the Classifieds section?  Please clarify.  You can restrict access to sections of your website / base it on whether they are part of a member group which they can join buy paying a membership/subscription fee.

Not sure what you mean here - what do you mean by "members to create their own social media platform [like Facebook]" and "have it directed to a link on my website" - please clarify.

Yes, the UltimateWB  full edition will meet my needs.

Currently, my website is being updated with new information, because I'm in the process of changing my entire concept. With the new website, I would like to offer "Discounted Membership Products and Services" within my own website [ Online Business Directory ]. This will be offered to merchants and vendors  wanting to advertise their "discounted" products and services in my Online Directory.

I will also use the Classified app for those Business Owners wanting to advertise their business "without eCommerce". Example: Any business that wants my members to purchase at their store or business [but not online]. They can use the coupon for these transactions.

My concept is based on TWO components:

1. Members

2. Participating Businesses.

My members pay a membership fee and receive discounts on products and services listed in the online business directory and the classified app [like any other membership club]. Members will also be able to sell my Online Business Directory packages [online business directory, classifieds, ads, etc..] to merchants and vendors and will receive commissions  [like an affiliate program] for their sales. This means, I don't offer "free sign-up" options on my website for individuals [members]. I already have eCommerce set up for my membership prices [subscriptions] within my own website.

I will be using the Social Media platform [UltimateWB] as an "up sale" to add value to my membership fee. My members will use this platform to showcase their talents, create joint ventures or collaborations, meet new friends, create their own blog, create or participate in forums, chat, start community groups, etc... This means, there will be NO charge for "members" to join inside the UltimateWB  platform, because they have already purchased a membership through "the plan" [my website]. This also means, UltimateWB "full" will be displayed [redirected] when someone clicks the Business Directory link on my website. Again, hopefully,  this makes sense.

Your software will be a great fit, because it allows me to have the members and participating businesses to be seen together on the same platform [hopefully, this makes sense]... In my opinion, this will appeal to the members and participating businesses, because members will see products and services [links] while using the Social media platform , while at the same time, participating businesses will see an "existing" customer base [members] to purchase their products and services when they view their business listing. It also illustrates the entire Network working together on ONE platform.

In regards to the "coupon" being mandatory. Participating businesses [directory, classifieds, etc...] MUST offer a discount on their products or services in order to advertise in the directory, classifieds, etc.. [no exceptions]. The coupon can be used for in store purchases, and also, it can be added at checkout in the shopping cart [hopefully]. Also, my members receive "reward points" [dollars] and they can be used to purchase products and services listed in the directory, classifieds, etc... I think you have an app to help with this as well.

If possible, I would like to see a demo of how your social media platform design looks on a website. The demos  I viewed on your website  were catered to businesses and not a social media platform [like socialgo]. I could have been looking in the wrong place.

I forgot to mention earlier, ALL my subscription packages [directory, classified, etc..] MUST offer a 30 day free trial [I didn't see this feature on your website]...

Sure, you're welcome!

With UltimateWB Full, you can set up subscription packages whereby a user makes the purchase and then is signed up as a member and/or added to a member group (this can be done automatically if you use PayPal checkout, similar to how the UltimateWB software may be downloaded automatically on our website after PayPal confirms the payment).  You can set up the subscriptions/services that you offer on your website to have an affiliate commission for the member.  You can find more on the Affiliates app here: https://www.ultimatewb.com/e-commerce-app/affiliates-program .

As noted in the previous email, in the Classifieds app, and Listings Directory app, you can create custom fields - such as a "Coupon" field, and require they be filled in by the member posting the classified ad/listing.  You can also set the access setting for these pages to be members only, or accessible to only certain member groups.  If you want sign up for the main part of your website to be free and not require any prior payment, but for there to be a membership cost for accessing the Classifieds directory/coupon codes, you would want the latter setup, with the Classifieds section set to access only by certain member groups.

UltimateWB Full has a Friends app, Fans app, Articles app (which you can use to allow members to post articles), Forums app, and Private Messaging.  UltimateWB Full currently does not have a real-time chat feature, or the feature for members to create groups on your website.

We do have a Rewards app in UltimateWB Full; here is the user manual section on it: https://www.ultimatewb.com/rewards-app .  On the Rewards app you can configure rewards to be via Points or Credits, specific to a certain action.  So, for example, you can award points for a user viewing a forum topic, and credits for posting a forum topic or forum post.  Then, in the Classifieds app, for example, you would set the User-to-User Payment Processing type to "Via Website Credits System".  Credits may also be used to make posts to apps on your website, for example to post a Classified ad, or to add special options to an ad - you would just set the Payment type for this to "Credits System" on the Classified app's config page on your website admin panel page.  You can allow users to also purchase Credits on your website.  However, currently credits cannot be used within the E-commerce app itself, to purchase a subscription for example - please email if you would like to request that feature and we can consider adding it, as described on the Request Features page at https://www.ultimatewb.com/request-features .

Regarding:

You can set subscription packages for sale on the e-commerce app via the PayPal payment system to have free trials, and configure the number of days for the trial, after which they would be charged.  Based on your setup, it seems you would then want the user to be removed from the member group and not have access to the directory after subscription cancellation - UltimateWB Full currently does not have the feature to automatically remove a member from a group when a subscription is cancelled, but we can consider adding it (it currently has the feature to remove a member from a group when their member access ends based on the item they purchased, not ongoing subscription that is cancelled).

I charge these individuals/businesses a monthly subscription fee [30 day free trial offer]... If possible, I would like to have the ability to determine how many items [products/services] an individual/business can upload into their listing/category subscription package.

Example: Personal Listing - Individual/Business can upload a MAXIMUM of "up to" 25 items [product/services] within their subscription package.

Example: Business Listing - Individual/Business can upload a MAXIMUM of "up to" 100 items [product/services] within their subscription package.

2. Social Media Platform - I'm currently using Socialgo, but I would like to replace their platform [on my website] with another service with more options. Your software seems to offer an abundant of features and options. The more options the better.

So you have another website url of your website that doesn't use SocialGo?  And you want to have your current website as is, and then use UltimateWB for the SocialGo parts?  If so, what is that website url?  Usually, customers would just rebuild their whole website with UltimateWB to have a seamless website - that's not what you are planning to do?

1. On the Classifieds (and also Listings) config page you can set the max number of ads a member can post, and the max number of free ads they can post too.  You can set a charge for posting per ad for each classifieds category.  You can also charge fees for special addons to the ad, like making them featured, or adding photos.  You can add members to member groups after purchasing a subscription, and only allow access to the classifieds section if they are in that member goup.  You can choose which member groups can post ads, and which can view ads if you would like.

Regarding this:

You can do this setup by having the "subscription" be purchasing the "credits" to be used to post a paid ad. So you would have a subscription for a personal listing be the purchase of x number of credits, which would amount to the cost of 25 posts.  And for business listings, you would have that be the purchase of x number of credits, which is the cost of 100 posts.  The ration of cost/number of posts doesn't have to be the same for each, as you can set a different post cost per category.  But the ratio of cost/number of posts would be the same if the posts would be in the same categories.

This is one way to set it up.  Please note though that this setup, with the subscriptions being credit purchases, currently involves the Credits app and does not have a "Subscribe" setup with adding the user automatically to a member group.

You asked what we would recommend: As mentioned, it's not clear if you are planning on having/maintaining 2 websites - one as the "main" website and one for SocialGo replacement...Not sure if this is your plan, but we would recommend that you get the UltimateWB Full software to have the built-in social networking and e-commerce apps, and build your one website with it - no need for directing/redirecting between 2 websites.  This way you just maintain one website, and one web hosting, and your design can be seamless throughout your webpages.  UltimateWB software is downloadable software that is installable onto your web hosting (unlike SocialGo which is hosted only on their servers and not downloadable software).  So you can choose to host on a server that meets the server requirements, as listed at https://www.ultimatewb.com/server-requirements , or choose one of our web hosting packages at: https://www.ultimatewb.com/domain-names-web-hosting .  You mentioned that you already have web hosting - which company?  If they meet the server requirements (you can send them the Server Requirements link https://www.ultimatewb.com/server-requirements to check) you can choose to host your website there and install UltimateWB software on it.  We have installation instructions with a tutorial video on how to do it at https://www.ultimatewb.com/installation .  If you already own your domain, and you want to choose to host with one of UltimateWB web hosting packages, you would just need to point the domain name nameservers to UltimateWB (we can do if for you, or your domain name registration company can also help you with it).  All UltimateWB web hosting packages come with free installation of the software onto your web hosting (but still requires separate purchase of software).  You can choose to start with the Starter or Deluxe 1000 web hosting plans if you would like, and then upgrade as needed.
