Sure, you're welcome!  The order of purchasing won't matter, but you do need all 3 - domain name, web hosting, software - to get started.  If you purchase the web hosting through us, we would install the UltimateWB software you purchase for you, and then email you your acces info so you could get started creating your website.  If you also purchase the domain name through us, we would connect it to your web hosting.  If you purchase the domain name at another company, but the web hosting through us, we can also still do the connection for you if you like (no extra charge), or you can do it with your registration company's help with the web hosting nameserver info we provide.

In any case, the process for renewing domain names is that you should get an email notification before the renewal date to renew.  We do also offer a subscription plan that can automatically renew and also you can choose to buy the domain name for more than one year at a time.
